Gold Souk Traditional Market, Dubai


Gold Souk is a traditional market in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Located in the business center of Dubai in Deira, Al Dhagaya. Gold Souk consists of more than 300 sellers who trade almost exclusively in jewelery. There is ample parking area here, so all tourists can visit here easily and comfortably.

Gold Souk has been around since the 1940s, due to a policy of free trade that drives Dubai entrepreneurs from India and Iran to set up shop in the souk. In addition to jewelry, gold, diamonds, there are also watches and local clothes, as well as some souvenir merchants. Switzerland is the largest gold supplier in Dubai, India about 68% of the diamond trade in Dubai.



Burj Khalifa, Dubai


Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, formerly known as “Burj Dubai”. This building has a 829.84 meters (2723 feet) high. Initial development on 21 September 2004 and was completed officially on January 4, 2010.

It costs about U.S. $ 20 billion to build this building. Completion of this project coincided with the global financial crisis in 2007-2010, causing Dubai trapped in big ambitions, so that the Dubai government was forced to seek multibillion dollar loan from a very rich neighbor, Abu Dhabi. Since then, surprisingly, the building was turned into Burj Khalifa, in honor for the UAE President, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Ski Dubai, Dubai


Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort with 22,500 square meters area. This place is one entertainment at the Mall of the Emirates. Mall of the Emirates is one of the largest shopping malls in the world, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This mall was built by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, which also operates this place.

Opened in November 2005, the indoor ski resort is equipped with a small mountain. There is also a quad lift and a tow lift carry skiers and snowboarders up to the mountain.



Desert Safari, Dubai


You should try a high-desert safari in the desert with a special car 4 wheel drive with a powerful engine. The attraction name is Desert Safari Dubai. You will be asked to maneuver and winding up in the desert. Then after desert safari, we are invited to dinner with belly dancing entertainment. You can enjoy this adventure in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, but is more well known in Dubai.

You will be charged about 200 dirhams. Generally tourists take Desert Safari package and Dinner while watching Belly Dance.

To start the adventure, they can pick you up at your hotel or where you want (eg in a mall or other place that feels comfortable for you). When they are picked using 4 Wheel Drive car, you will directly go to the desert which is located outside Dubai, about 1 hour drive.

After about 1 hour adventures in the desert, you will arrive at the destination, the dinner place with Belly dance show (Belly Dance). You will be presented with a variety of drinks. While waiting for the night and dinner, you can take pictures and ride camels.



Heritage Village, Abu Dhabi


Heritage Village is a reconstruction of an oasis traditional village provides atmosphere of the old days when this country doesn’t have oil resources (about 200 years ago).

Traditional aspects that we can see is the desert life, a campfire with coffee pots, tents made of goat hair, Falaj irrigation system, all we can see at this open museum.

There are workshops where craftsmen demonstrate traditional skills such as metal work and ceramics, there is a woman sitting weaving. The craftsmen are happy to share their skills, and can sometimes give us a chance to try it.



Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Abu Dhabi


It is an architectural masterpiece that is one of the largest mosques in the world (number 3 in the world), with can accommodate 40,000 people, it's amazing.

Sheikh Zayed mosque has 80 domes, 1000 columns, and a hand-woven rugs. Unlike other mosques in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is open for non-Muslim visitors. You can do a free one-hour tour with travel guide. Opening hours starting Saturday at 10:00 am until Thursday.

This mosque has a 24 carat gold in each layer dome, making it the grandest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. Women should not take pictures here, only men can take pictures at this mosque.



Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi


Ferrari World is a Ferrari themed amusement park on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. This park has 200,000 square meters roof area, making it the world's largest indoor park.

Ferrari World officially opened on 4 November 2010. Ferrari World has the fastest Roller Coaster game in the world (240km/hour), can be compared with the Superman Escape roller coaster at Gold Coast Austrlia (which has a rate of acceleration 0-100 km in just 2 seconds).

Adult ticket price is 225 Dirhams (AED) and 165 Dirham (AED) for children.



Formula Rossa, Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi

If you want a more extreme, you can try the Formula Rossa roller coaster located at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, it is the fastest in the world, with up to 240km/h speeds.

Palm Islands, Dubai


Palm islands is an artificial islands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where commercial and residential infrastructure will built here. This islands became the largest land reclamation project in the world and forming the largest artificial islands in the world. All built by Nakheel Properties, a property development company in the United Arab Emirates, who hired the Dutch contractor Van oor, one of the renowned experts in land reclamation.

The Palm Islands consist of the Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jabel Ali and Palm Deira. Palm Islands are located in the Persian Gulf and will add 250 km beach long in Dubai.

The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial island, which was built with land reclamation by Nakheel, a company owned by the government of Dubai. Palm jumeirah is the smallest of the three palm islands.



Jabal Hafeet, Abu Dhabi


Jabal Hafeet is a mountain located in Al-Ain suburbs ,United Arab Emirates. There is green mubazzarah under the hills, a tourist attraction with a well developed. In green mubazzarah, there are hot springs that gushed into the creek and formed a lake.

Jabal Hafeet has beautiful and winding highways, so there is a bike championships are often held here every year.



Burj Al Arab, Dubai


Burj al-Arab is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Burj al-Arab was designed by Tom Wright, reaching 321 meters high, 66 floors and is the tallest building that is fully used as a hotel. The building stands on an artificial island located 280 m off the Persian Gulf coast.

The location is surrounded by the Persian Gulf, so that all the rooms have a beautiful sea view which can be enjoyed through the window, either from the bedroom or living room. If you get bored enjoying the ocean view, you can also relax in the private Jacuzzi while enjoying a glass of wine.

This hotel is often called the 7 stars hotel. It is also seen as a way to "beat" the other hotels which called 6 stars hotel. If you akrofobian, dont worry. This hotel also provides an outdoor swimming pool on the ground floor and an exclusive beach facilities, complete with lifeguard and beach butler, in case you want to enjoy a romantic sunset on the beach with a glass of cocktail in hand.
